| About me and my practice I have been in private practice for 10 years working with individuals, couples and families. I am licensed as a marriage and family therapist. I have extensive experience working with a variety of problems and situations including behavioral problems with children and adolescents, eating disorders and substance abuse. I currently work as a consultant with the Orange County Health Care Agency, Children and Youth Services where I provide direct services to clients as well as helping to develop the behavioral health program for children and their parents. I have recently completed my doctorate degree in psychology and am now working toward licensure. I work from a cognitive behavioral perspective helping my clients develop their capacity for personal growth and self-awareness. By providing a supportive and safe environment, I help you to gain a greater awareness of your thoughts, behaviors and emotions and how these impact your life. By increasing your self awareness you will discover your capacity to work through the issues you are now facing and develop your ability to make choices that are in your own best interest.
